Black And Red Over Orange by Mark Rothko Square Frame

Black and red floating over a field of orange — Rothko at his most dramatic. The contrast is striking but not aggressive; the soft edges he always used stop it from becoming harsh. In a square frame the composition feels perfectly balanced. For living rooms and bedrooms that want something with genuine weight without tipping into darkness.
