Mark Rothko No.6

Rothko's No. 6 sits in his classic colour field register — two rectangular zones of deep, saturated colour floating against each other with no hard edges, no narrative, just feeling. He wanted viewers to stand close and let the colour surround them. This print brings that same experience home. Meditative, monumental and surprisingly easy to live with.
