Zorah On The Terrace by Henri Matisse

Zorah sits quietly against a wash of turquoise, sea blue and soft green, her richly patterned clothing bringing rhythm and warmth to the composition. Painted during Henri Matisse’s time in Morocco, the work captures the intensity of North African light through bold colour and beautifully simplified forms.

Calm but far from understated, Zorah on the Terrace brings a fresh, transporting quality to a room. A striking choice for bedrooms, living spaces and anywhere that could use a little more colour.
