Hergé, the pen name of Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, was born in Brussels in 1907. His most famous creation, TinTin, is a young Belgian reporter who first appeared in 1929 and went on to star in over 20 albums. Hergé's distinctive drawing style, clear narratives, and attention to detail won him a wide following, both in Belgium and abroad. In the 1950s, he introduced TinTin to a new generation of readers with updated artwork and storylines. Hergé continued to work on TinTin until his death in 1983, leaving behind a legacy that has been enjoyed by millions of fans around the world.
