Warhol designed the cover of the Velvet Underground's debut album in 1967 — a plain white cover with a single yellow banana and the instruction to 'peel slowly and see.' The image became one of the most famous album covers in rock history, and the banana one of Warhol's most durable symbols: ordinary, sensual, slightly subversive. This print takes that image and gives it the wall presence it always deserved.
